Organized by Freedom in Christ Ministry, a local ministry dedicated to serving those in need, the focusing on more than just meals. It aims to restore hope and remind every person that they matter.
Pastors Sheri and Rodney Kemp from Freedom in Christ Ministry joined “Live in the D” to share about this heartfelt initiative making a difference.
The upcoming Feed the Unhoused community service with love project embodies this mission. “To teach the word, to equip people just to be better people, and to serve with love,” Pastor Sheri explained.
Freedom in Christ Ministry has been serving the community with love since 2021, reaching over one thousand people. “What we want to do is go out and make sure people understand we care about them,” Pastor Rodney noted.
For those who want to support the mission, interested individuals can volunteer at the ministry’s upcoming service event on Saturday, July 19 from 9:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more details, please click here.
