Police seek suspects in tent explosion

WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. – Police in northern Michigan are looking for whoever might be responsible for a fireworks tent explosion.

It happened Saturday, July 5, in Haring Township, just north of Cadillac. According to authorities, Michigan State Police were alerted to a fireworks tent in a parking lot that caught on fire. When first responders arrived, fireworks were actively going off from inside the burning tent.

With the help of the Cadillac and Haring Township fire departments, the tent fire was extinguished. No injuries or damages were reported outside of the very damaged fireworks tent.
