GRANDVILLE, Mich. – Police are investigating after a suspect allegedly took cash, including $2 bills and $1 coins, from a west Michigan home over the weekend.
The home invasion happened at about 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, in the 4700 block of 36th St. SW in Grandville.

The suspect, who was wearing all black, allegedly left the home “with cash, including a large stack of $2 bills and a roll of $1 coins,” according to police. No one was injured.
Authorities believe that this was a targeted home invasion.
The Grandville Police Department is seeking surveillance footage and other details anyone may have about the home invasion.
