Joseph, 24, was drafted by Detroit in 2022, and has since become one of the best safeties in the league.

In three seasons with the Lions, Joseph has gathered 17 interceptions, including a league-leading nine picks in 2024, along with 83 combined tackles.

The deal keeps a key piece of Detroit’s defense in place for years to come. The Lions will likely look to extend pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson next.
