ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan has a true freshman and a former player on the cover of the next college football video game.

EA Sports dropped the covers for its 2026 edition of the game, and Michigan is well represented.

Even though the Wolverines are no longer coming off a national championship season, they’ve got two players near the front of the deluxe edition cover -- true freshman Bryce Underwood and former star quarterback Denard Robinson.

Underwood was the No. 1 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class and flipped from LSU to Michigan late in the process. Most expect him to be the starting quarterback at some point this season, even if it’s not for the opener.

Robinson was a superstar during a dark era of Michigan football from 2009-2012. He threw for 6,250 yards and rushed for 4,495 yards in his career, scoring 91 total touchdowns.

Robinson recently spent time on the Michigan football staff, but that ended in May 2024 after an arrest for driving while intoxicated.

The deluxe edition of the college football video game also features a Block M flag near the top of the cover.

The front row is occupied by USC, Alabama, Ohio State, and Penn State. Michigan didn’t play Penn State last season but defeated the other three.
